Course: FYBA – Communication Skills in English

 

1. Orientation & Bridge Course

• Conducted an orientation session for FYBA students introducing programme outcomes, course structure, and assessment patterns.

• Explained the importance of Communication Skills in English for academic and professional development.

• Provided a bridge course to strengthen basic grammar and vocabulary.

 

2. Classroom Teaching & Learning

• Completed the entire syllabus as per the academic calendar.

• Used interactive teaching methods such as discussions, presentations, pair work, and group activities.

• Provided study materials, notes, and PPTs for all units.

• Conducted regular doubt‐clearing sessions.

 

3. Internal Evaluation & Assessment

• Conducted class tests, assignments, and presentations.

• Evaluated students’ performance and provided constructive feedback.

• Maintained continuous assessment records.

 

4. Co‑Curricular Activities

• Organized a Communication Skills Workshop focusing on public speaking and soft skills.

• Conducted reading and vocabulary activities to enhance language competence.

• Encouraged students to participate in debates, elocution, and essay competitions.

 

5. Departmental Meetings & Planning

• Participated in departmental meetings related to syllabus planning, timetables, and examination work.

• Contributed to curriculum discussions and academic planning.

 

6. Extension & Outreach Activities
